A Heartfelt Thank You To President William Ruto For Investing In Kitui East; We Also Request This - Hon. Bruce Mutua

Hon. Bruce Mutua, the Kitui East Member of Parliament Aspirant under the National Economic Development Party (NEDP) for the 2027 General Election, has expressed his appreciation to President William Ruto for the development projects being implemented in Kitui East Constituency.

According to Hon. Bruce Mutua, the ongoing projects have given the people of Kitui East a renewed sense of inclusion and belonging. He noted that development should never be viewed as a privilege but as a constitutional right for every Kenyan, considering that the residents of Kitui East faithfully contribute to the country's tax revenue just like citizens in other regions.

While acknowledging the progress already made, Hon. Bruce Mutua has respectfully appealed to President William Ruto to prioritize the tarmacking of key roads that would significantly improve transport, trade, education, and access to healthcare. These roads include the Kiini–Mbitini–Voo Road, the Ithangathi–Mutito Road, and the Mwitika–Twambui Road. He emphasized that upgrading these roads would unlock economic opportunities and improve the livelihoods of thousands of residents.

Looking ahead to the 2027 General Election, Hon. Bruce Mutua reaffirmed his commitment to offering transformative leadership if elected as the next Member of Parliament for Kitui East. Running on the NEDP party ticket led by Hon. Mike Mbuvi Sonko, he pledged to work closely with both the national and county governments to attract more development projects, improve public services, empower the youth and women, and promote sustainable economic growth.

Hon. Bruce Mutua concluded by stating that his vision is to build on existing development gains while ensuring that every part of Kitui East benefits from equitable infrastructure, quality services, and inclusive leadership that puts the interests of the people first.
